Responsibilities
- Operate Class A/B commercial vehicles safely across New York metropolitan area
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Ensure secure cargo handling and verify delivery accuracy
- Represent the company professionally with all stakeholders
- Utilize GPS systems for real-time navigation and traffic optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with NYC traffic regulations and restricted zones
- Basic understanding of cargo securing techniques
- Strong communication and time-management skills
