Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across Colorado and surrounding states
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic knowledge of freight securement and cargo handling
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel (home weekly)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
