Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, or box trucks) within Detroit metro and surrounding regions
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure cargo throughout transit
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR and no major preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro area and Michigan highways
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
