Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers or box trucks for regional deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Document delivery receipts and report maintenance issues
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and early mornings
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
