Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and complete accurate DOT documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with HOS regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Austin metro area and Texas highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Customer service mindset with professional communication
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
