Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional deliveries and freight transport
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight using manual and forklift operations when required
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Memphis metro area and regional routes
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional overtime
