Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefers, flatbeds) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems while maintaining delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance logs
- Handle loading/unloading with forklift certification (provided)
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to HOS regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Tampa Bay metro area routes
