Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Operate in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
