Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within Pennsylvania and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections, document maintenance logs, and ensure DOT compliance
- Deliver freight to commercial and residential destinations with precision and timeliness
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain electronic logging systems (ELD) and submit required documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and schedule adherence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass random drug screenings
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends as needed
