Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for local and regional routes within San Jose and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS navigation and route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document delivery status and handle discrepancies professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Bay Area roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route planning skills
