Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional freight delivery
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts when required
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers during deliveries
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while maintaining route efficiency
- Report maintenance issues and document delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and route familiarity
- Zero-fault safety record preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
