Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs
- Deliver freight on time to diverse locations including warehouses, distribution centers, and retail hubs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload cargo with precision using specialized equipment when required
- Maintain clean driving record and complete all required training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with LA metro traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for time-sensitive deliveries
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
