Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight within Texas and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and perform minor repairs when qualified
- Uphold company safety standards and represent Dallas Freight Solutions professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and ELD compliance
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work occasional overnight shifts and weekends
