Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in the Charlotte metro area
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for shipments
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Assist in basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
- Knowledge of Charlotte-area road networks preferred
