Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Manage time-sensitive delivery schedules with precision
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
