Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks, box trucks) within Boston metro area
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain vehicle inspection logs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Navigate complex urban routes efficiently using GPS systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Boston area streets and traffic patterns
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
