Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and accurately using proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, electronic logging devices (ELD), and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers at each stop.
- Report mechanical issues or road hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Must be able to pass a physical exam to meet Department of Transportation standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
