Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods on established routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain customer service standards
- Monitor weather and traffic conditions to optimize delivery timelines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Maryland roadways and delivery regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips and weekend shifts
