Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Baltimore metropolitan area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Represent our brand through professional customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in last 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Familiarity with Baltimore area and Mid-Atlantic shipping corridors
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb trailer steps
