Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within the Baltimore metro area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading and delivery timelines
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Represent Baltimore Logistics with professionalism during client interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong knowledge of Maryland roadways and Baltimore traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
