Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Transport freight to/from distribution centers and client locations throughout MD, PA, and DE
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance reports
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD compliant) and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all company safety policies and defensive driving protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Maryland traffic laws and Mid-Atlantic routes
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional weekend work
- High school diploma or equivalent required
