Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for efficient freight delivery across the Mid-Atlantic region
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Secure cargo using proper tie-down methods and safety equipment
- Manage delivery paperwork and electronic logging systems
- Represent our company professionally while interacting with clients and public
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Maryland roadways and traffic regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
