Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for local deliveries and regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight securely using proper equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes for traffic/weather conditions while meeting delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts as needed
