Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul and regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while meeting delivery deadlines
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and securement procedures
- Communicate with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain electronic logging system (ELD) and required documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency in using GPS systems and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
- Must be at least 23 years old with valid passport for cross-border routes
