Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated) on multi-state routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route planning and real-time communication
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metro area and Southeastern US routes
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
