Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently to deliver cargo to customers in Georgia and Florida.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper securing and safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (HOS) and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and schedule changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and Drug Screen clearance.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
