Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across Georgia and Southeastern states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Atlanta metro area navigation and regional highways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Experience with freight handling and securement protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required
