Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely and efficiently operate Class A or Class B trucks to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load & Unload: Secure cargo during transit and assist with loading and unloading freight at delivery sites.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and cargo manifests.
- Customer Service: Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and clients.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Clean Record: Must have a clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Endorsements: Hazmat, Tanker, or Double/Triple Trailers endorsements are a plus but not always required.
