Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules for on-time performance
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all company safety policies and defensive driving practices
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
