Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver cargo on time and in pristine condition.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize risk and ensure passenger and cargo safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical.
- Clean driving record with no serious violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
