Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in compliance with all traffic laws and company regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including logbooks, delivery receipts, and bills of lading.
- Adhere to strict safety policies and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record with no recent DUIs or major moving violations.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
