Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records, including logbooks and delivery receipts, using ELD technology.
- Adhere to strict schedules and delivery timelines to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status updates and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or Class B with Tanker/HAZMAT endorsement).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- 3+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
