Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes across Florida
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs/electronic records
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with proper documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Florida highway systems and weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
