Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate delays proactively
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Colorado traffic laws and mountain driving conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings
