Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) for on-time deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while navigating mountain terrain and weather conditions
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-sensitive cargo
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with mountain driving and HOS regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization experience
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
