Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Washington DC and surrounding regions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely route adherence
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to meet safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all federal and local transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
