Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery trucks and tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely using proper lifting techniques.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation according to DOT regulations.
- Deliver goods to designated locations within the schedule while providing excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT Drug Screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
