Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain compliance logs
- Load/unload freight efficiently using proper equipment techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Navigate GPS systems and optimize routes for timely deliveries
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Document delivery exceptions and customer communications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate manual transmissions
- Flexibility for early morning starts and regional overnight trips
- Pass DOT physical and background check requirements
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and hazmat familiarity preferred
