Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver goods on time
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage inventory and secure cargo during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of NYC metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- DOT medical certification
- Basic math and documentation skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
