As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring our customers receive their freight on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and secure cargo using straps, chains, and binders.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and handle billing paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
