Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in a professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling and security of merchandise.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pick-ups and deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle cleaning and maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding hours of service and driving standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in various weather conditions.
