Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor as required.
- Deliver goods to designated locations while maintaining a professional demeanor and customer service standards.
- Observe all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Complete accurate delivery logs, electronic logging devices (ELD), and paperwork.
- Resolve delivery issues on-site with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) in possession.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
