Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver goods on strict schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Load/unload shipments using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Operate in all weather conditions across NYC boroughs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and climb ladders
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and borough geography
- DOT medical certification and physical ability to pass annual exams
- Pass background check and drug screening
