Responsibilities
- Operate Class A CDL vehicles to deliver goods safely and on schedule across Florida and Ohio routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload shipments efficiently with proper handling protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Adapt to changing delivery priorities and optimize routes for timeliness
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overnight trips
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Florida and Ohio highway systems preferred
