Job Overview
We are seeking experienced CDL drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently across the Charlotte metro area and surrounding regions. If you take pride in your driving record and customer service skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks in various weather conditions.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards.
- Complete and maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Interact professionally with clients and demonstrate exceptional customer service.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must have a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning.
