Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight across Georgia and Texas
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate fleet maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Georgia/Texas highway systems
- DOT medical certification and compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
