Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, semi-trailers) to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to comply with DOT safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and handle customer interactions
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Ohio/North Carolina routes
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
