The Role:
We are looking for Class A or B drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently across the region. This is a Full-Time opportunity for dedicated individuals.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver cargo to customers on schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle during stops.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of road maps and GPS navigation systems.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
