Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor as required.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and electronic documentation at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to resolve any delivery issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and paperwork.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
