Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with precision using hydraulic lifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections ensuring DOT compliance
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adapt to flexible routes including residential and commercial zones
- Uphold company safety standards and zero-tolerance policy
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Familiarity with Columbus metro area and Ohio highways
- Basic tech literacy for GPS navigation and electronic logging
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in all weather conditions
